How to Map TikTok Shop Products to Shopify Products?

My TikTok Shop already has products. Why do I need to create product mapping?

ShopSync needs to know the correspondence between your TikTok Shop and Shopify products, for example, which Shopify product corresponds to Product A in your TikTok Shop. Only then can ShopSync help you sync TikTok Shop orders to the Shopify seller center when a user purchases a Product A, and deduct the inventory for Product A. Otherwise, ShopSync will not be able to successfully sync orders from TikTok Shop to Shopify.

If you enable auto-sync, once successfully mapped, TikTok Shop product information will automatically be overwritten by Shopify product information. For cross-border Shop products, Shopify's product information will override the corresponding TikTok Shop global and local products.

If you do not want TikTok Shop product information to be overwritten, please turn off the auto-sync feature on the 【Settings】 page before creating a mapping.

To map your TikTok Shop Products to Shopify automtically, follow the steps below:

Navigate to Products > Unmapped Products on TikTok Shop.

Here you can see your active TikTok Shop products.

Click the Bulk auto-map button.

Based on consistent SKU names and quantities, Bulk Auto-map feature creates a one-to-one mapping between TikTok Shop products and Shopify products.

If your product has not filled in the SKU name, the batch auto-mapping function will not have to take effect, but you can do it manually.

Check that if your TikTok Shop products match the Shopify products correctly in the popup window.

The auto-mapping relies on the SKU names you provide in TikTok Shop to find matching Shopify products. If your SKU names are incorrect, it could easily lead to mismatched products.

If the correspondence for a particular product is not correct, please switch to manual mapping.

Click on the Map button in the lower right corner if you have confirmed that all TikTok Shop products and Shopify products are correctly matched.

You will then see a notification in the lower right corner of the page indicating how many products have been mapped and which products have failed to map. For products that failed to map, you can fix the issues based on the error messages provided.

To map your TikTok Shop Products to Shopify manually, follow the steps below:

Navigate to Products > Unmapped Products on TikTok Shop.

Here you can see your active TikTok Shop products.

Check the TikTok Shop product you need to create a mapping for, then click the Map button on the right.

In the pop-up window, find the corresponding Shopify product by searching for the product name, or locate it in the list below, and then click the Map button in the lower right corner again.

If your TikTok Shop has only one product variant, but your Shopify has multiple variants, you will need to select which Shopify product variant corresponds to the TikTok Shop product variant before clicking the Map button in the lower right corner.

Once the product mapping is successful, you will see a success message. For products that fail to map, you can fix the issues based on the error messages provided.

Successfully mapped products will appear in the "Products Synced to TikTok Shop" tab. You can update product information through Shopify or ShopSync to synchronize the updated product details to TikTok Shop.

It's important to note that ShopSync does not support syncing updated product information from TikTok Shop to Shopify.

🎉🎉🎉 Finally, when there are new TikTok Shop orders, ShopSync will automatically sync them to Shopify. After you fulfill the orders on Shopify, the logistics information will also be automatically synced to TikTok Shop, and the order status will be updated without any action needed on your part.
